With the pandemic hanging over our heads since the beginning of last year, the world seemed to shut down. Just about everyone was affected in some way, especially kids.
With online school becoming the new norm, children lost a very important part of their lives for far too long: In-person social interactions and physical activities enhancing their athletic development.
Moving into 2021, we knew that things needed to change. That’s why Future Stars led the way to return a sense of normalcy to kids by providing a safe and fun camp experience and bringing them back to the social environment that they crave.
Here’s the Future Stars 2021 season in review.
While it’s true that the 2021 season was less restrictive than 2020, the safety of our campers remained one of our top priorities. Our staff worked diligently to ensure that camp areas and equipment were sanitized regularly and campers were grouped according to our updated guidelines for the season.
Thanks to the hard work of our staff and the cooperation from our amazing campers, the 2021 Future Stars season was a monumental success despite the troubling pandemic situation.
After the school system, Summer camps are next in line for leading the way to getting kids back to regular activities and sports.
This sense of normalcy has been largely missing over the past year and a half.
The 2021 Future Stars season saw kids back doing what they should be doing: Enjoying activities and sports while socializing and making new friends along the way.
Most importantly, the season saw kids having fun again. There were guidelines to make sure staff and campers stayed safe, but it didn’t take away from the camper experience whatsoever.
We weren’t wrong in our assessment of kids needing to get back to activities and sports in a social environment. Our fantastic program turnout proves that theory.
We’re excited to report that every Future Stars location had an established waitlist!
The Future Stars staff couldn’t be happier with the result and seeing kids having fun at our various camp programs.
Moving forward, Future Stars management and staff already have their sights set on 2022. For parents who couldn’t get their children into programs this past Summer, don’t worry: 2022 is going to be even better.
We’ve already got teams in place planning and preparing for the 2022 season to make sure that it’s everything that campers are hoping for.
Future Stars offers camp programs at 6 different locations throughout New York. To find out more, click each location to learn which programs are offered.
