Laura Dasi dreamt of being a professional ballerina in New York City, when she was a child of 3. For seven years, she lived this dream life. In 2002, she returned to her native California and became a yoga teacher as a newly single mom. But the performing arts continued to beckon her. Laura in her performing arts journey found her way to aerial arts and in 2009 was a contestant on America's Got Talent.
"Appearing on Season 9 of America’s Got Talent gave me a chance not only to show my skill in aerial arts to the world but to inspire millions of people by sharing my story of overcoming a challenging time in my life to emerge triumphant. I hope to lead by example and encourage others to pursue their passion in life no matter what obstacles they may face."
