Meet Parker, this is his first year at Future Stars Camps and he’s enrolled in quite a few camps.
Farah: I heard this is your first year here, what camps are you joining?
Parker: I started a couple of weeks ago. I was in lacrosse and I’m doing diving later. I have a brother in tennis and a sister in soccer.
Farah: What camp are you in this week?
Parker: Football
Farah: What have you been working on this week?
Parker: I have been working on throwing the ball, catching the ball, and tackling the wheel.
Farah: What is your favorite part of this week?
Parker: Probably passing the ball because I like throwing and I’m a good thrower. I like to throw deep.
Farah: What are you most looking forward to this week?
Parker: I want to practice to be a wide receiver.
Farah: Do you have a favorite counselor?
Parker: CJ because he throws the pretty deep balls and I like to catch them because they are more fun and challenging.
Farah: Is there someone that you look up to or admire in sports?
Parker: Tom Brady because he’s a pretty good QB
Farah: What are your hobbies?
Parker: I throw the ball around with my brother or my dad. I also swim and dive, and play soccer and lacrosse.
Farah: What is the best part of being a kid?
Parker: Well, I like being a kid because when you get older you can’t run as fast and I like to run fast.
Farah: What grade are you in? What do you most enjoy about school?
Parker: I’m going into 2nd grade. I like to write!
Farah: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Parker: Maybe a football player, I’m not sure.
Farah: What is your favorite memory from camp?
Parker: Just hanging out with my counselors and my friends.
Farah: Great meeting you Parker, have a great rest of the summer!
