As we approach the holidays with family and friends, we'd like to also give back to the places in our community that work so hard to make our loved ones safe and cared for. We want to make sure that every child has the opportunity to have a safe, welcoming environment like we offer at Future Stars.
We believe that Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) does this for not only children but also their families, so this Thanksgiving we will be donating a portion of our enrollment to them in their efforts to ensure the best environment for the hardest time in most people's lives.
Maria Fareri Children's Hospital was built through the efforts of hundreds of parents, medical professionals, and community leaders, including Brenda and John Fareri who lost their 13-year-old daughter, Maria, to rabies in 1995. After Maria died, her parents learned that Maria had made a special wish as part of a school project - for the health and well-being of all the children in the world. Guided by Maria's wish, the Fareri family helped lead the design and creation of Maria Fareri Children's Hospital as a "family-centered" hospital. It is the only hospital in the United States named after a child.
We would like to assist in adding to Maria's wish by donating on your behalf to the areas of need:
Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department
Family Resource Center
Isaac and Naomi Kaplan Family Regional NICU Expansion Project
Maria's Garden
With each registration from now until Thanksgiving we will be donating $25 per week to Maria Fareri Children's Hospital for everyone that registers using the discount code 'GOBBLE'. Along with the donation, as a thank you to you we will be giving you $40 off per week towards your camper this summer.
As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, we can be filled with warmth knowing that together we made a difference.
With gratitude, you may register here!
